Dear Listener,
If you want to escape and laugh, I have just the thing. Here’s Episode 197: Shut the F*ck Up Please. Our student Sarena Neyman knows herself really well and she seems to know me too, which I think is the mark of a great storyteller.
If you, like me, don’t feel like doing anything, this episode should help. Also, even if you don’t feel like it, let’s write together.
Our TIPS CLINIC is happening this Saturday and you’re invited!
It’s usually every second Saturday, but we missed last week, so join us this SATURDAY, November 16, 2024
12 to 1 p.m. ET on Zoom
We’re talking about using a container to structure a story. What is that? Consider telling a story set on an airplane, or in a yoga class, or while you’re sitting under the hair dryer at the salon. The cool thing about writing is you don’t have to only write about that place and time. You can write about memories, fears, hopes, and dreams. That’s what we’re gonna do this Saturday.
We’ll write and (if you want) you can share what you wrote.
If you’re already a Patreon, here’s your FREE Tips Clinic Zoom link. If you’re not a member, join the clinic for $10. Register here TIPS CLINIC.
If this is your first experience with a Writing Class Radio class, click the free link, we’d love to have you.
If you want to write with us every week, we have two First Draft writing groups where you write to a prompt and share if you want. They’re the best. Click here to join Allison Langer Tuesdays 12-1 ET and/or click here to join Eduardo Winck Mondays 8-9 ET. Just $35/mo, but you can test drive for FREE.
Thanks for reading. And thanks for listening to Writing Class Radio.
